Calne Lickhill By-election Results

Results for today's Calne Lickhill Ward by-election are:-

Glenis Ansell - Lib Dems = 278 (35.3%)

Robert Baggs - BNP = 84 (10.7%)

Ellie Bland - UKIP = 150 (19.0%)

Geoff Brown - Greens = 23 (2.9%)

Greg Widger - Conservative = 256 (32.5%)

Turnout was 25%.

The weather was very bad and over 2000 of the 3161 eligible to vote couldn't be bothered.

Disappointing result. Sorry team.

You did well,

We are all very proud of you.

Only a few years back we would have been lucky to get 5%.

So a sincere thank you Robert,
your standing for election alone gives us all great hope, in this time of oppression.

after the GLA in May i feel we will then start to make the dramatic breakthrough we are all waiting for.

Nick has said if we get 2 seats on the GLA he will be invited to the BBCs question time.
this would probably get the most views question time has ever had.

Therefore London is now the focus for our success this year. we HAVE to get those 2 seats.

Never surrender and thank you once again.

forever BNP

Bob

Chin up robert mission accomplished UKIP fail to hold seat and fall back from a very good position in may whilst your team has gained a little ground. All these by elections are for the big one next year the euros and when we keep knocking UKIP back we keep impoving our chances

Robert even though the result was not what you wanted it was still a good one in more ways than one.

The election was a three cornered race Lab /Con/ Nat. If you add the UKIP and BNP vote then it shows Nationalism has a strong presence in your area. When UKIP colapses then the voters will turn to us.

You and your team did alright. What you did was show the country we as a party are now spread geographicaly the length and breath of our country.

Well done everyone down there in your neck of the woods.
