NOT Nick Griffin

Just thought I'd mention that 2 people have so far commented that I look like Nick Griffin in the photo below........ can I sue?

Reminded me of a previous incident of mistaken identity - see Danny Lake Blogspot here -

".....The highlight of the evening though was the fracas in the pub I had told everybody to go to. A couple of idiots walked in, saw Rob Baggs and thought he was Nick Griffin. He had only come along to see how it went and he ended up staring at two idiots in balaclavas with one of them holding a megaphone and screaming about a holocaust denier being in the room. ..."

Funny thing about the whole event was that only Danny Lake, Mike Howson and me knew of the venue Nick Griffin was due to speak in and that was subsequently compromised - I've always wondered who the informer was - one day we'll get to know I'm sure!

BNP RIP

For many years I believed the BNP was going to be the only force that would ensure that the British way of life, our culture, traditions and history would be protected and that Nick Griffin was to be our saviour. There was a time I truly believed he would lead us into a new tomorrow and like many other political friends and associates from that time, looked up to Nick believing him to be the Nationalist hero of our time.

However, the issues that gave rose to the expulsion of the Decembrists made me question the motives and decisions made by Nick Griffin. After having given a fair part of my life (and my privacy) to the cause of our "Nationalist family", it was very hard to admit that you had wrongly been supporting a man who was not acting in the interests of the nation. I can only relate the feeling I had, to that experienced by William Wallace when he encountered Robert the Bruce, the man he thought was his own saviour, on the battlefield – see this clip

The Betrayal

Consequently I realised early on that I could no longer support a man who for whatever reason was not acting in the interests of the BNP and the British people and was making too many mistakes and missing too many opportunities that the BNP could have capitalised on.

Sadly, there are still those who believe there is something left to salvage – there isn’t! Nick Griffin has, through his actions, ensured that all of the good people I once worked with and who did so much good work for the party were either expelled, suspended or left in disgust. The BNP will never be a credible force in British politics, there is too much baggage, corruption and nepotism and Nick Griffin has so much control that he will ensure that if he is ever ousted the BNP will collapse.

If there are so called Nationalists out there who believe anything else then seek psychiatric help now – you are sadly deluded.

I recently came across an obituary to Frederick Chilumba, the one-time president of Zambia. In it there were some familiar occurrences and thought it worthy of reproducing here:-

“He soon became known for ‘authoritarian tendencies’. When his privatisation of state-owned companies faltered, he sacked colleagues; when most Zambians found themselves even worse off as a result of his mis-management, he blamed Kaunda – whom he vilified ceaselessly – for their plight. As his second term neared its end, (he) strove to amend the constitution in order to stay in power. Having been convicted of laundering millions of pounds of state money through private bank accounts in London, he was later cleared of all charges, because the money could not be definitively traced back to government funds”.

No Future For Me, No Future For You

The following shocked me:-

24.3% of pupils in schools in England are from an ethnic minority, up from 19.8% five years ago. In primary schools, 16.8% of pupils do not speak English as a first language; the figure for secondary schools is 12.3%. In Tower Hamlets in east London, 78% of primary pupils do not speak English as a first language. (Department of Education/The Guardian).

However, what is more shocking is that the British National Party, who at one time, looked like it could strike it big in British politics and help reverse the decay in British society are sadly today less than a shadow of what they once were due to mismanagement by it's leadership and the failure to take advantage of a potentially sympathetic public. So unless miracles occur and Andrew Brons is returned as the new BNP leader next week then all is lost. It may already be too late as the BNP has all but fallen apart and is now a laughing stock. It seems likely, if Griffin loses, to have it's infrastructure destroyed due to the vice like grip he has over it, particularly relating to it's finances.

Also sadly, we are now faced with a dilution of Nationalist support. The National Front seemed, of late, to be on the up, but have lost their way yet again. The British Freedom Party although well-intentioned are no more than a minor distraction and their off-shoot, the Freedom Democrats are no more than a minor irritation. Britain First are a little mysterious, currently a campaigning group with a hint of becoming a political party but apparently not yet as the time isn't right, a similar position to that of the English Defence League. UKIP refuse to accept BNP or ex-BNP members into their party and remain somewhat dull and ineffective most of the time. And the English Democrats still seem unable to break into the circle of trust that Nationalists have.

It may be that this is all a conspiracy to ensure that Nationalism does not gain the foothold to bring back a Britain that we can be proud of again. It may be simply just down to apathy and the unwillingness and continual failure of Nationalists to work together for the greater good. If there is any truth in the latter point then it begs the question as to whether they are true Nationalists valuing their origin and history or just prefer to be small fishes in big seas with the false importance that provides. I certainly have come across many "Nationalists" when I was active, who would "talk the talk" but find any excuse not to "walk the walk" and also those whose ego's were boosted through a "title" in a small organisation - who recognises themselves in either of these categories then?

But the serious point is that based on the above statistics, and I'm sure, much more data available elsewhere, I will be in the minority ethnic grouping during my lifetime and that matters to me.

The question we all need to ask ourselves is - do we really care? If we do surely then all the petty differences must be set aside and a way to work together found, if we don't care, then carry on and form as many political parties as you like to play at politics and pretending you'll make a difference. That's just what "the man" wants you to do.

Andrew Brons MEP in BNP Leadership Contest

To all British Nationalists

Andrew Brons MEP to Stand

in BNP Leadership Contest

Whether you are members of the BNP, ex members, or from any other Nationalist background, now is the time to bury differences and give your total support to Andrew Brons.

This is probably the last chance to make the Nationalist voice heard loudly enough to wake up our people to the dangers they're facing.

For you must know, as well as I, that if we are serious about saving our country, our people and our culture, we have no time left to indulge ourselves in further pointless bickering. There's no time left to try to create new Nationalist groupings, as some well intentioned people have been endeavouring to do. Most of these new groups have only recently been set up because the frustrations of good people finally boiled over at what they've perceived to be a rudderless ship and rampant duplicity.

On top of this the undue influence within the BNP of Jim Dowson has been of especial concern to many (and has been a direct cause of many an activist walking away). Doubts about Dowson's probity has, it would appear, been a major reason for the unwillingness of members/supporters to give continuing financial support.

Please, if you have a vote in this leadership election vote for Andrew Brons.

Andrew Brons, Member of the European Parliament for Yorkshire and Humberside, has declared his candidacy for the upcoming leadership election to be held in the British National Party.

Mr Brons’s candidacy will replace and take over the campaign started by Richard Edmonds, with his full support and encouragement.

“This challenge is not an ideological battle, nor is it personal,” Mr Brons said. “It is primarily concerned with rectifying the party’s internal organisation and ways of handling differences of opinion,” said Mr Brons.

“Our campaign will be based five core principles,” Mr Brons said.

“Firstly, we want to save the party from a haemorrhaging of members, especially activists".

“Secondly we must face up to and deal with the financial mismanagement which has afflicted our party. There is also an urgent need for financial transparency".

“Thirdly, we need to change the party’s constitution to make it more accessible and democratic to the members. It must also embrace a collegiate leadership".

“Fourthly, we need to change the culture of the party with regards to members’ interactions with each other".

“Finally we need to halt the practice of using the internal security and disciplinary procedure as a factional tool,” said Mr Brons.

The campaign staff already assembled for Mr Edmonds’s campaign, including his election agent, Chris Roberts, will make up the core team of Mr Brons’s campaign.

“We have mounted an all-out attempt to save the party,” said Mr Edmonds. “Many of us are of the opinion that the dangers caused by self-inflicted damage could see the British National Party irreparably damaged. “Mr Brons is the ideal candidate to unite and heal the wounds within our party,” Mr Edmonds continued.

“Mr Brons brings the benefit of his many years of experience and service to our movement. He is a man of integrity and proven selfless devotion to our cause and is respected by all. “I welcome most warmly his decision to step forward at this time of crisis. We need every person of goodwill if we are to succeed in the effort of saving our party and country. “I thank all the members and supporters who have helped, aided and encouraged me when I was the challenger. Mr Brons must be supported by all,” concluded Mr Edmonds.
