True Brits Update

Well, the official preliminary announcement has been made on the Nationalist Unity Forum and seems to be attracting largely positive and supportive comments. The announcement has certainly caused a buzz in Nationalist circles in general and also amongst those who wish to destroy us and everything we stand for. On the latter, I must say I’ve always found it of interest looking at the Searchlight and, of late, Hope Not Hate websites for their take on what is going on based on the stories created by their various undercover agents and had many a good laugh at some of the stories about incidents and events that I have been involved with and can therefore see what crap they actually write! Both sites seem to be quite excited at the prospect of a new Nationalist party being formed as it essentially gives them a new lease of life now that the BNP has gone from being the only real player on the Nationalist scene to a rapidly sinking, I would say ship, but it’s more like a coracle. Along with these two obviously anti-Nationalist bodies, there are some who inhabit the British Democracy Forum and Stormfront Britain sites and although purporting to be Nationalists seek every opportunity to criticise and belittle when positive moves are taken to take Nationalism forward. There are also those I know, or know of, who seem to make a big noise in support of Nationalism, but who have actually done very little real activity and then there are those who have arrived on the scene somewhat late in life but talk a good Nationalist background prompting one to ask where they have been until now?

Anyway enough of the negative and back to the positive. It seems that some big names in Nationalism are coming forward in support of the new party and some are rumoured to be about to do so. Amongst these are included those having held prominent positions in the BNP, as well as those from other parties and it is particularly promising to know that there are many now coming forward who had seemingly given up as a result of the treachery of the Griffin Gang. On the Griffin subject, Kevin Scott has played a blinder in making the announcement just before the BNP started their conference in Blackpool. Griffin must be spitting feathers! Having seen him lose his temper at a BNP Advisory Council meeting some time ago when Warren Bennett, the one-time Head of BNP Security had upset him, I can imagine him referring to Kevin as a c*** in the same venomous way he did Warren!

What’s particularly encouraging for me is that several fine, but dormant Nationalists in the South West have contacted me to ask about the new developments and suggesting they would like to get involved again.

So, where do we go from here?

It seems there is some mystery and consequently some debate, regarding the proposed party name and also if Peter Phillips will be the party leader. I’m not sure how relevant either of these issues are and feel that, whilst ensuring the debate about the new party continues, have little bearing on the situation, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the announcement has been made, there will be a new party and there are many disaffected Nationalists coming forward in support. If the party is to be called the True Brits then fine, I think it has many uses and is a name that has none of the stigma associated with any variations of the British National Party or the National Front. Being able to claim membership of Calne True Brits, Swindon True Brits, Wiltshire True Brits or South West True Brits, for example, can only be seen as a positive patriotic statement. Additionally, asking the question “Are you a True Brit?” is quite powerful as how many would be brave enough to say “No, I’m not!”? If the party name is not True Brits then so be it, but as said, there will be a new party!

Next then to the leader, I mentioned Peter Phillips in my previous blog. I’ve never met him, don’t know much about him but have seen him speak and found him to be a decent sort and could make a good leader - see this link - Peter Phillips Speaking. If he is no longer in the frame, there seem to be several big names rumoured to be involved who could take the position, even if only in a caretaker role, pending the election or selection of a more permanent leader. Again this is not a problem.

There is also some debate over what the new party will stand for and some will not commit until that is clearer and they may have a point, but Kevin has said “We have resolved to form a new party – a successor to the British National Party but with inner party democracy, financial transparency and a culture that values debate and differences of opinion. It will be a Party in which there will be safeguards against financial incompetence and the misuse of party funds and against the partisan employment of the security and disciplinary machine”. He continues “We are confident that the new party will appeal to those who have left or been driven out of the British National Party.....”. On this basis, despite quoting specific policies, it can be seen that it will be similar to the BNP but without all of the aspects that Griffin allowed and which caused so much unrest and about which we have been complaining for so long.

I am also quite happy that this process isn’t being rushed, as that’s when mistakes are made. We need to get it right this time, as time isn’t what we’ve got much of left! I’m sure over the next few weeks and months, more details will be announced but in the meantime I think all of us who have an interest need to register that interest on the Nationalist Unity Forum at the foot of the page via the link above. By doing so doesn’t commit you to life membership and if it transpires this venture isn’t for you, then I’d be interested in what alternative you think you might have!?

Some of us have been waiting years for this and it is likely it will be a long haul before everything is made clear, so we need to be patient for just a bit longer and all will, I’m sure, when the time is right, be revealed!
